BYOK Pro Chat is a Chrome extension that provides an AI chat sidebar using API keys supplied by the user.

How Data Is Used
This data is used only to provide the extension’s core chat functionality. When the user sends a chat message, the extension sends the message, relevant chat context, selected model, and API key directly to the AI provider selected by the user, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, OpenRouter, DeepSeek, xAI, Groq, Mistral, Moonshot, or DashScope/Qwen.
Data Sharing
BYOK Pro Chat does not send user data to the extension developer’s servers. The extension does not sell, rent, or trade user data. User data is shared only with the AI provider selected by the user when the user sends a chat message.
Data Storage
API keys, settings, prompts, and chat history are stored locally in the user’s Chrome browser. The extension developer does not have access to this locally stored data.
Data Deletion
Users can delete chat history from within the extension. Users can also remove all locally stored extension data by uninstalling the extension or clearing extension site data in Chrome.
Remote Code
BYOK Pro Chat does not load or execute remote JavaScript or WebAssembly. The extension only sends HTTPS API requests to user-selected AI model providers.
Limited Use Disclosure
The use of information received from Chrome APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
